Spring Ball 2012
DESCRIPTION OF OUR INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE
Instructional T-Ball:

A new program for 3 and 4 year olds to teach the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. All batters will hit the ball from a batting tee which is adjusted to a height that allows the batter to swing level. All rostered players present for the game bat in order, whether playing defensively or not. Each player plays a minimum of two innings defensively. An adult coach is stationed beyond the infielders in order to provide instruction to all defensive players. This league is played with a rubber ball to avoid injury or fear of the baseball. The primary goal is to begin to instruct young players in the fundamentals of baseball in a supportive team environment.

Each player gets an award at the end of each spring season.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
We do not hold tournaments for this level. Instructional T-Ball is to introduce kids to the game and have loads of fun.

 

 

 

 

 

 

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT OUR INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE
The instructional league is offered to 3 and 4 year old players. It is a good way for the kids to be introduced to the game and at minimal cost to the parents. We hope the kids will enjoy the game and continue to come back to the park for many more years as they continue to develop a knowledge of the game of baseball.

All players play on both offense and defense for the entire game. Coaches remain on the field at all time to give instruction to the players on both offense and defense. We also use a rubber style baseball to prevent injuries and help the kids lose the fear of being hit with a baseball.

Each player gets an award at the end of each spring season.
